Die struck coins involve a flat metal being stamped with a steel die. The die has a negative impression built into it and when stamped leaves the postitive impression into the base alloy. Die struck coins are ideal for quantities starting at 300. Normal production is four weeks after artwork is approved. Sizes can vary up to 4" in diameter and .20" thick. Die striking allows for inticate detail and minimal cut out designs can be enhanced with 3D tooling. Die struck products are used to make medals and coins typically used for the military and government agencies. The base alloys used are brass, copper, iron and aluminum.
Pricing below is for the most common sizes in standard .125" thickness and standard finish which include Bright Brass, Bright Silver or Cooper plating. Additional available finishes are Antique Brass, Antique Silver, Antique Copper and Black Nickel. For sizes not shown please call for quote.
